WHEREAS, on July 6, 2021, Council adopted Ordinance 21-2014 Flood Damage Prevention, and
WHEREAS, the backup documentation of the Ordinance on page 35, under the Substantial improvement section, the term, "5-year [or 10-year] period" is listed twice throughout the paragraph, and
WHEREAS, this text could be confusing to the members of the public because it should state "10-year period" only and "5-year period" should be deleted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Acknowledges and approves the clerical correction to Ordinance 21-2014 as mentioned above.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
