Due to substantive changes in the scope, complexity, and span of control in the Finance Manager position, the position was recently re-analyzed by The Archer Company. The conclusion was that the position should be re-titled to Director of Finance and that it be raised from a Grade 28 to a Grade 30. The City Administrator and HR Director concur with the recommendation. The cost to adjust the employee currently serving in this position is $7,049.00.

WHEREAS, Due to substantive changes in the scope, complexity, and span of control in the Finance Manager position, the position was recently re-analyzed by The Archer Company. The conclusion was that the position should be re-titled to Director of Finance and that it be raised from a Grade 28 to a Grade 30 within the City's Pay Classification Plan. The City Administrator and HR Director concur with the recommendation and the cost to adjust the employee currently serving in this position is $7,049.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves amending the Pay Classification Plan and converting the Finance Manager at a Grade 28 to Finance Director at a Grade 30 effective with the Pay Period Beginning October 7, 2014, and
