WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation has requested to hold a one day event (Chicago Street Supper Club) Friday, October 16, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on North Chicago Street, Foley, AL, and
WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation has requested assistance from appropriate City of Foley Departments with placement of barricades, use and placement of trash receptacles, and placement of signage and decorations that are provided by the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, and
WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation has requested the street closure of North Chicago Street beginning Friday, October 16, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. and ending on Friday, October 17, 2020 at 12:00 a.m.
WHEREAS, the Chamber Foundation has also requested alcoholic beverages to be served in a non-corralled designated area on the grounds.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce's request to hold a one day event (Chicago Street Supper Club) Friday, October 16, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Chicago Street, Foley, AL. contingent upon Foley Police Department and Foley Fire Department approval.
