WHEREAS, an extension of Fern Avenue from Highway 59 to the Foley Beach Express is to be grant-funded for ATRIP Phase III project, and
WHEREAS, Fern Avenune extension will provide beneficial access for emergency vehicles from the west side of Foley to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, as well as providing another east to west access for residents of Foley, and
WHEREAS, a grant application will need to be completed and submitted by an engineering consultant.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Volkert, Inc. to complete and submit the grant application for the ATRIP Phase III project.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
