WHEREAS, the City of Foley solicited bids and publicly opened them on March 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. for Cactus Cafe Building Repairs, and the bids are as follows:

Total Cost of Project Other Than Structural Items Listed Below - $99,023.00
Roof Joist (unit cost to replace 1 joist 12 ft. long) - $259.00
Roof Decking (unit cost to replace 1 sq. ft.) - $6.97
Cross Bridging Replacement (unit cost to replace 1 span) - $143.00

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the sole bid submitted by Highland Wake Construction, LLC for Cactus Cafe building repairs as per the attached scope of work. The total cost of the project, other than the structural items listed, is $99,023.00. The additional costs associated with structural items are as follows: Roof Joist (unit cost to replace 1 joist 12 ft. long) - $259.00;
Roof Decking (unit cost to replace 1 sq. ft.) - $6.97; and Cross Bridging Replacement (unit cost to replace 1 span) - $143.00. The esti...
