Mike Thompson - Performance Contract. Coastal Alabama Farmers' and Fishermen's Market (CAFFM) was formed by the City's Public Facilities Cooperative District and purchased the market building and Peavey building using New Markets Tax Credits financing. The mission statement of CAFFM includes promoting community awareness of sustainable farming and fishing practices, and educating the public on healthy eating habits. This Performance contract allows the City to use the market building and property free of charge in exchange for periodic general maintenance to that same facility.
