Summary
We would like to accept a generous $5000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND) dollar donation from the Friends of the Foley Public Library to be used for our Children's Summer Reading Programs. This requires ammeding revenue account 04-5863 to reflect the additional $5000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND) dollars and increasing the amount budgeted in FY2012-13 Library Fund account 04-600-8040 (Summer Reading) by $5000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND) dollars.

WHEREAS, the Friends of the Library donated $5000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND) dollars to the Foley Public Library to partially fund the children's Summer Reading Program expenses.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the generous donation of $5000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND) dollars from the Friends of the Library in support of the children's Summer Reading Program and approves ammending revenue account 04-5863 to reflect the donation.
SECTION 2: Ammends Library Fund account 04-600-8040 (Summer Reading) to reflect an additional $5000.00 (FIVE THOUSAND) dollars available for expenditure.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
