WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved certain items as surplus in the Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department requests approval to donate the surplus items to Helicon Volunteer Fire Department located in Arley, Alabama.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Fire Department's surplus equipment to be donated to the Helicon Volunteer Fire Department.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
