Summary
The Police Department has received several unbudgeted donations this fiscal year from multiple sources. We are requesting to use $2,300.00 of this unbudgeted donation money to purchase personal gear (rain trousers) for the patrol officers. We are requesting to increase the Personal Gear and Protection Expense account 100-2010-6067 in the amount of $2,300.00 and increase the revenue Donations account # 100-2010-4651 in the amount of $2,300.00, resulting in a $0 effect.

WHEREAS, the Police Department has received several unbudgeted donations this fiscal year from multiple sources and,
WHEREAS, the Police Department requests to use some of the unbudgeted funds in the amount of $2,300.00 to purchase personal gear for the patrol officers.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the unbudgeted donation amount of $2,300.00 and amends the Police Donation Revenue account # 100-2010-4651.
SECTION 2: Approves the use of the unbudgeted donation funds to purchase personal gear for the patrol officers and amends Personal gear and Protection account number 100-2010- 6067 by $2,300.00, resulting in budget neutral action.
