WHEREAS, the Friends of the Foley Library has donated $6,000.00 to the Foley Public Library and,
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Library desires to continue funding a part-time, temporary employee to act as a staff floater in the Library's children's division.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the donation of $6,000 from the Friends of the Foley Library and amends the revenue account #100-5020-4651 accordingly.
SECTION 2: Approves the use of the donation to fund a part-time, temporary employee and amends Part-time Salaries Account #100-5020-5002 by $5,100.00, Payroll Tax Account #100-5020-5004 by $390.00, Retirement Expense Account #100-5020-5007 by $330.00, and Workman's Comp Expense Account #100-5020-5008 by $180.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
