The City of Foley Public Library seeks permission from the Foley City Council to apply to the Alabama Public Library Service for a 2018 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant in the amount of $50,000.00 to be used for upgrades to the Library's computer lab and to the public access computers located throughout the facility. The local match for this grant is $12,500 which will be shared by the Library and by the City of Foley IT Department. The $6,250.00 from the Library will be budgeted in the 04-600-8077 account and the $6,250.00 from IT will be budgeted in the 629-5010 account.
