When Les Wansley was inspecting ceiling tiles for leaks in Melissa Ringler's office at CDD he went up on the roof to see what was causing the leak. He discovered that the roof joists were cracked to the point that there was a bow in the main structure and that the potential for a roof cave in was high. Myles Bishop of MCS Contracting, Inc. was called in to inspect the problem and he immediately furnished materials and labor to reinforce the roof because it was collapsing. We recommend appropriating $2,150 for the unexpected expenditure.

WHEREAS, upon inspection for a leak in the ceiling at Community Development a bow in the main roof structure was identified and MCS Contracting was called in to immediately correct the problem.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $2,150 to Account No. 01-615-4010 Building/Grounds Maintenance and memorializes the expense in the same amount payable to MCS Contracting, Inc.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
