A Resolution Requesting an increase of budgeted funds for the Sanitation Department
Summary
Though growth in Foley was anticipated, the growth rate has been higher than expected. We have more demands for 96 gallon green garbage cans. What was originally budgeted is not enough to cover the demand, so the Sanitation Department needs to increase budgeted money to replenish the stock. The Sanitation Department is requesting that Sanitation Small Tools Account# 100-4010-6053 be increased of $30,000.00.

WHEREAS, the Sanitation Dept. has had a higher than expected demand on 96 gallon garbage cans, and
WHEREAS, the Sanitation Dept. needs to increase budgeted money to replenish the stock, and
WHEREAS, the Sanitation Dept. is requesting that Sanitation Small Tools Account# 100-4010-6053 be increased of $30,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the increase of $30,000.00 to the Sanitation Small Tools Account# 100-4010-6053 for the purchase of 96 gallon garbage cans to replenish the stock to meet the demand.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
