Due to the Foley High School football game being rescheduled from Friday, October 31, 2025 to Thursday, October 30, 2025, which is normally the date for Hometown Halloween, the Marketing Department is requesting to amend Resolution 25-1197, which was adopted during the regular schedule Council Meeting on June 16, 2025. The Marketing Department is requesting to reschedule Hometown Halloween to Thursday, October 23, 2025.

     WHEREAS, during the regular scheduled Council Meeting of June 16, 2025, City Council adopted Resolution 25-1197A Resolution to Approve the Closure of Streets in Downtown Foley for Hometown Halloween on Thursday, October 30, 2025, and

     WHEREAS, Foley High School has rescheduled a football game to the same date, and

     WHEREAS, the Marketing Department is requesting to reschedule Hometown Halloween from Thursday, October 30, 2025 to Thursday, October 23,  2025

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Approved amending Resolution 25-1197 to reschedule the date of Hometown Halloween to Thursday, October 23, 2025.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
