Richard Peterson, Chairman of the Kiwanis Club's Christmas Parade, is requesting approval of the annual Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Attached is a copy of the route, which has been submitted to the Police Department, and a copy of their "Certificate of Insurance Liability.
Previously the Kiwanis Club requested funds in the amount of $250 when they had "Radio Day" at WHEP.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The City of Foley deems it a good a useful purpose of expenditure of funds to donate $250 to the Kiwanis Club for the Christmas Parade and approves the expenditure from Account No. 01-620-8110 Public Relations/Community Development.
SECTION 2: Approves the Kiwanis Club's request to hold the 2012 Annual Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
