On September 16, 2013, Council approved Resolution 13-0481, which approved moving Mr. Heard from an alternative member of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals to a regular member beginning September 16, 2013 and ending September 16, 2016. Council approved Resolution 14-0254, which reappointed Vernie Heard Jr. to the Board of Adjustments and Appeals on July 7, 2014. Therefore, Resolution 14-0254 needs to be rescinded.

WHEREAS, under enabling Resolution 14-0254, Council reappointed Vernie Heard Jr. to the Board of Adjustments and Appeals on July 7, 2014, and
WHEREAS, on September 16, 2013, Council approved Resolution 13-0481, which approved Mr. Heard from an alternative member of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals to a regular member beginning September 16, 2013 and ending September 16, 2016.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Rescinds Resolution 14-0254 appointing Vernie Heard Jr. to the Board of Adjustments and Appeals and reinstates/reconfirms Resolution 13-0481 moving Mr. Heard from an alternate member to a regular member with a term ending September 16, 2016.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
