Nelson Bauer has recommended using Hunter Security System and installation is $4,985 and 24 hour monitoring is $50 per month ($300 for the 6 months remaining in this fiscal year). Appropriate $5,285 for this contract.

WHEREAS, the Peavey building's fire suppression system needs to have some improvements done and monthly monitoring, and
WHEREAS, Hunter Security has submitted a quote in the amount of $4985 for the improvements, and
WHEREAS, the monthly monitoring fee is $50 per month, which would be $300 for the remainder of this fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, Mechanical Fire Protection submitted an email containing a quote in the amount of $225 to inspect the fire suppression system.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $5285 to Account No. 01-620-2190 Peavey Building Expense for maintenance of the Fire Suppression System and monthly monitoring.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $225 to Account No. 01-620-2190 Peavey Building Expense for Mechanical Fire Protection to inspect the fire suppression system.
SECTION 3: Authorizes the transfer of $5510 from Account No. 01-620-6190 to Fund 41 PFCD Account No. 41-600-4061 Maintenance Peavey Building.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
