Summary
The 2020 budget anticipated the first in house road project to be Farmer's Market Rd. However, a section of Pecan between Lay Lane & Pride Dr. has become a higher priority. Therefore, the Street Department is proposing to do this road in 2020 rather than its original plan of 2023 and delay the Farmer's Market Rd project to a future year. The cost of the Farmer's Market Rd was planned at a cost of $117,840, but the Pecan section of road is expected to cost $252,283, so Street Department is requesting an additional $134,443 to complete the total cost of $252,283 and requesting the appropriation of funds in the total amount of $252,283 under Account #400-3010-5100 CR-1 to begin the road building project from the Pride Dr. North round-about to S. Pecan.
