With the purchase of the new automated time clocks, there is a need to declare the old time clocks, time cards racks, and time cards surplus and to dispose of by the best possible means.

Body
      WHEREAS, the City recently transitioned to new automated time clocks and the old time clocks are no longer needed, and
 
      WHEREAS, Section 11-43-56 of the Code of Alabama of 1975 authorizes the municipal governing body to dispose of unneeded personal property, and
 
      WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with GovDeals.com to sell surplus items through the "Sellers Agreement."
 
      NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama as follows:
 
      SECTION 1:      Declares 7 Simplex Time Clocks, 16 large time card racks, 3 small time card racks, and one box of time cards as surplus and authorizes their disposal by the best possible means.
      
      SECTION 2:      This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoptin as required by law.
