A Resolution to Accept the Donation of 600 Stackable Chairs from the City of Orange Beach

 

Summary

The City of Orange Beach would like to donate 600 stackable chairs to the City of Foley. The City of Foley wishes to accept the donation and deem them surplus and donate them to the Foley United Methodist Church polling place to be used by citizens during elections.

     WHEREAS,  the City of Orange Beach would like to donate 600 stackable chairs to the City of Foley, and

 

     WHEREAS,  the City of Foley desires to accept the donation and deem the donated chairs as surplus and donate them to the Polling Place Foley Methodist Church to be used by citizens during elections.

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1:     Accepts the stackable chairs donated by the City of Orange Beach.

 

     SECTION 2:     Deems the stackable chairs as surplus and no longer needed for municipal purposes.

 

     SECTION 3:     Authorizes the donation of the chairs to the Foley Methodist Church to be used by citizens during elections.

 

     SECTION 4:    This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
