WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has (7) seven vehicles which are no longer operational.
WHEREAS, The Police Department requests Council to declare these vehicles: Unit #107/Asset #6675, a 2007 Ford Crown Vic (VIN 2FAFP71W67X152156); Unit #907/Asset #6684, a 2007 Dodge Charger (VIN 2B3KA43G77H775621; Unit #1907/Asset #6685, a 2007 Dodge Charger (VIN 2B3KA43H37H845365); Unit #108/Asset #8069, a 2008 Ford Crown Vic (VIN 2FAFP71V78X168875); Unit #208/Asset #8066, a 2008 Ford Crown Vic (VIN 2FAFP71V78X168876); Unit #308/Asset #8065, a 2008 Ford Crown Vic (VIN 2FAFP71V78X168877); Unit #408/Asset #8064, a 2008 Ford Crown Vic (VIN 2FAFP71V78X168878) as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose and to be disposed of by the best method available.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare the seven (7) vehicles as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose.
SECTION 2: Approves the disposal of the surplus vehicles by the best method available.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
