A Resolution Approving to Seek Request for Qualifications from Architectural Firms for Safe Room Project
Summary
The City of Foley requests Council approval to seek Request for Qualifications (RFQ's) from architectural firms to design the FEMA approved safe room. The architectural firm will be responsible for the building drawings, renderings, and scope of work and plans for the bid packet. The City will advertise in local area papers and online. The architectural firm will be selected by an evaluation committee. The City requests Council permission to allow the Mayor to execute a contract with the selected firm and begin the safe room project.
