Accept the ADCNR Public Access Improvement Grant for the Construction of the outdoor classroom and learning stations at Graham Creek Preserve and appropriate the funds. The grant is for $50,000 with a 1:1 match requirement. We anticipate the in kind services will be $20,000. Also as part of the project, we request to allocate $2423 for electrical service installation by M & M South Baldwin Electric.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley applied for the ADCNR Public Access Improvement Grant for the construction of the outdoor classroom and learning stations at Graham Creek Preserve at a project cost of $100,000.
WHEREAS, the City received approval for the grant to construct the outdoor classroom and learning stations following final approval by NOAA.
WHEREAS, the outdoor classroom will include a stage area with power for future events.
WHEREAS, the power source requires an electrical service to be installed.
WHEREAS, M & M South Baldwin Electric prepared a proposal to install the electrical service at a cost of $2423.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
