WHEREAS, on January 17, 2014 the City of Foley adopted Ordinance No. 14-1000 approving the Addressing Ordinance.
WHEREAS, Addressing Guidelines, Street Names 2) reads “The Mayor and Council shall have the authority to name streets within the City limits of Foley or change the name of a street as deemed necessary, subject to E-911 review.”
BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:
Section 1. What is currently an unnamed right-of-way beginning at 9th Avenue and running south approximately 1,325’+/- (See Exhibit A);
Section 2. This unnamed right-of-way is an extension of S Cedar Street therefore it is now named S Cedar Street;
Section 3. The previously named Rustic Route is hereby deleted (See Exhibit B);
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
