Mr. Foley wants to renew the lease with the addition of the City mowing his property located east of the Senior Center.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley has a need from time to time for overflow parking during special events held at Heritage Park, and
WHEREAS, John Foley has property located east of Heritage Park at the corner of Chicago Street and Violet Avenue and he is willing to renew the ground lease contingent upon City forces mowing his lot east of the Senior Center as well (Tax Map Parcel No. 05-54-08-28-2-000-017.002).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, authorizes a one-year term ground lease agreement in an amount of $1.00 annually between the John Foley and the City for Tax Map Parcel No. 05-54-08-28-2-000-025.000. The City of Foley agrees to the maintenance and upkeep of the land to include mowing grass and noxious weeds in areas that are needed.
