WHEREAS, the City entered into a land usage agreement with the Coastal Wildlife Rescue Center (CWRC) for property at Graham Creek Nature Preserve in order to rehabilitate injured wildlife in accordance with State and Federal permits.  
WHEREAS, the land usage agreement was dated on July 19, 2010 with an expiration date of three years from the signed agreement ; however the agreement may continue beyond the expiration date on a month-to-month basis if approved by the City.
WHEREAS, the CWRC officially opened on March 11, 2013 with all required federal permits and insurances.
WHEREAS, the land usage agreement shall expire on July 19, 2013 unless the City agrees to continue on a month-to-month basis.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       The City shall extend the land usage agreement on a month-to-month basis while CWRC actively seeks a new facility location.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
