The Caboose Club is requesting to use donation funds held in the Depot Museum checking account no. 01-1069 to purchase four (4) DCS remotes for the model train exhibit at the cost of $150.00 each from High Country Hobbies in Enterprise, AL,
Additional information/discussion: MTH, the company from which the remotes have been purchased is going to discontinue manufacturing the DCS remotes and have developed a new system that is not conducive to our layout. The Caboose Club feels that it would be beneficial to have extra remotes on hand.

WHEREAS, the Caboose Club is requesting to purchase additional DCS remotes for the "O" gauge model train exhibit
WHEREAS, the Caboose Club has accumulated donations held in the Depot Museum checking account to pay for this expenditure.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of four (4) DSC remotes, from High Country Hobbies in the amount of $600.00 and amends expense account 01-623-5015.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the Depot Museum Manager to make payment for this expenditure(s) from the Depot Museum checking account 01-1069.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
