WHEREAS, Sergeant Mark Alexander is retiring after twenty five (25) years of service as a police officer, and

WHEREAS, the City of Foley wishes to declare surplus Sergeant Mark Alexander's badge and service weapon and to allow him to receive that upon his retirement.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama as follows:

SECTION 1: Declares Sergeant Mark Alexander's badge and service weapon as surplus and authorizes these items to be given to Sergeant Mark Alexander upon his retirement from the City of Foley.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
