The Rotary Club Oyster Festival Race Committee is requesting permission to have its annual 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run to benefit the Club on Saturday, November 10, 2012 beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending approximately noon. The run will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Orange Blossom Square, continue down Alston Street to Azalea Avenue, proceed west on Azalea to just past Cedar Street and do a trun-around to Orange Blossom Square.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, during its regularly scheduled Council meeting of Monday, October 15, 2012 approves the Foley Rotary Club's 20th Annual Oyster Run to be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 7:00 a.m. until noon beginning and ending at Orange Blossom Square. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
