WHEREAS, there is a need to inactivate one budgeted, vacant slot in position job code #1645 and use those funds to fund one additional temporary slot in position job code #1646 in the Police Department, and
WHEREAS, this action is approved on a temporary basis for one year at which time it will be re-assessed, and
WHEREAS, no funding request is necessary in support of this action.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes inactivating one budgeted, vacant slot in position job code #1645 and replacing that with one additional temporary slot in position code #1646 in the Police Department.
SECTION 2: This action is on a temporary basis for one year at which time it will re-assessed.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
