WHEREAS, Resolution 13-0158 approved the application to the Alabama Historical Commission Historic Preservation Fund for grant assistance for local Historic Preservation Commission training, and
WHEREAS, the grant award is $7,500 with a local match of $1,875 for a total project cost of $9,375.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the Alabama Historical Commission Historic Preservation Fund Project Number AL-13-017 in the amount of $9,375 for Historical Commission training.
SECTION 2: Appoints Miriam Boutwell to serve as the Grant Manager, who will be responsible for submitting all required reports, reimbursement requests, and other correspondence to the Granting Agency and the City’s Grant Administrator.
SECTION 3: Grantee Cost Reports will be submitted to the Alabama Historical Commission on a quarterly basis.
SECTION 4: Amends AL Historic Grant revenue account 01-4963 $7,500 and increases Historic Commission Expense account 01-615-3085 $4,375.
