WHEREAS, the Sanitation Department is in need of an automated garbage truck to help with the expansion of the automated routes throughout the City,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of a 2015 Mack LEU613 Truck with a Bridgeport automated side loader body (Item# 215215) from East Texas Mack (#430-13) on Buy Board in the amount of $225,937.20 budgeted under Account No. 01-610-7010 in the amount of $228,000.00 for the Sanitation Department.
SECTION 2: This purchase will be made from the 2014 G.O. Bond proceeds.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
