Request to host Earth Day Scramble and Event at Graham Creek Nature Preserve on April 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. The scramble will be a scavenger hunt type family friendly race at 9:00 AM. There would also be environmental displays, acoustic music, a puppet show, nature tours and flower planting.

WHEREAS, Earth Day is celebrated on April 22, 2015, and
WHEREAS, Graham Creek Nature Preserve is a beautiful venue to host an Earth Day Celebration on April 18, 2015, and
WHEREAS, Earth Day Scramble race with mental and physical challenges would be an appropriate family event at Graham Creek Nature Preserve.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves hosting the Earth Day Scramble and Celebration on April 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Graham Creek Nature Preserve.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
