George Waller and the Kiwanis club of Foley have requested the use of Max Griffin Park on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10 am - 4 pm for the 2nd annual Kiwanis International Kids Day Celebration. WHEREAS, George Waller the Kiwanis Club of Foley has requested the use of Max Griffin Park on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10 am - 4 pm for a free community event celebrating International Kids Day, and
WHEREAS, the Kiwanis Club will provide free hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, and drinks for all attendees, and
WHEREAS, they plan to have music, inflatables, games, crafts, and activities for children of all ages.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama , as follows:
Section 1: Approves waiving the fees for the use of Max Griffin Park requested by George Waller and the Kiwanis Club of Foley for their International Kids Day Celebration on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10 am - 4 pm.
Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
