The Street Department requests to purchase a new 2019 R1500 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck from Tallassee Automotive, Inc. in the total amount of $25,500.00 under State of Alabama Division of Purchasing Reference Vehicle Contract # T191/#MA 999 16000000028. The new R1500 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck is included in the FY19 Budget under account# 100-3012-5100 for up to $26,000.00. It would replace a 2002 Ford F-250 Truck - Asset# 3266, Vehicle# 301261 (Old 0761), VIN# 1FTNW20L12EC57667, which has 175K Miles on it, is worn out, and is costing too much in repairs. The Street Department also requests that the 2002 Ford F-250 Truck be declared surplus and disposed of through JM Wood Auction in Montgomery, AL.
