A Resolution to Waive the Fees for the Use of Barricades for the Foley Sister Cities Oktoberfest Golf Tournament
Summary
Foley Sister Cities is requesting the use of and fees to be waived for barricades at the Foley Sister Cities Oktoberfest Golf Jamboree scheduled for October 23, 2026, at GlenLakes Golf Course. They will need use of 500 feet of barricades for this event. The Foley Sister Cities program and its mission to promote cultural, educational, and international exchange opportunities, including student exchange programs and community enrichment initiatives. Being that we are partnered with Foley Sister Cities, we feel this is another opportunity for the city to support their program efforts.

WHEREAS, the Foley Sister Cities Oktoberfest Golf Jamboree will be held on October 23, 2026, at GlenLakes Golf Course in Foley, Alabama; and
WHEREAS, we are requesting the use of and the fees to be waived for barricades.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of the barricades for the Foley Sister Cities Oktoberfest Golf Jamboree that will be held on October 23, 2026, at GlenLakes Golf Course in Foley, Alabama
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
