WHEREAS, the Public Works Director is requesting to go to bid for and purchase a new latest model Mid-size 4x2 Single cab pick up for the Sanitation Department in accordance with State and Local Laws, and
WHEREAS, $18,000 has been budgeted in Sanitation Capital Account 01-610-7010.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves going to bid for and the purchase of a new latest model Mid-size 4x2 Single cab pick up for the Sanitation Department for use as a Mosquito Spraying Truck. It will be a replacement for the oldest one. It is budgeted under account 01-610-7010, and is not to exceed $18,000.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
