The Alabama League Convention will be held on April 28-May 1, 2026 in Montgomery, Alabama, with the Annual Business Session to be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Council needs to select which Council Member will be the voting delegate and which one will be the 1st alternate and 2nd alternate. Council Members attending are Roderick Burkle and Larry Engel.

WHEREAS, the Alabama League of Municipalities' Annual Convention will be held in Montgomery, Alabama, April 28-May 1, 2026, and
WHEREAS, the Annual Business Session will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., and
WHEREAS, Mayor Ralph Hellmich and Councilmembers Roderick Burkle and Larry Engel will be attending the annual Convention for this year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appoints Mayor Ralph Hellmich as voting Delegate and Councilmembers Roderick Burkle as the 1st Alternate Voting Delegate and appoints Councilmember Larry Engel as the 2nd Alternate Voting Delegate to represent the City of Foley at the Annual Business Session on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in Montgomery, Alabama.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
