The City of Fairhope has donated a 1983 Duce and a half to the Foley Police Department. This Truck was owned and titled by the City of Fairhope as attached documents show. This truck is an Am Gen Model M35A2 with a VIN of 502453. This truck will be added to the Departments Vehicle inventory and the one we presently have (military style truck VIN# H9DEB100110083, Fixed asset # 3220) we will request to surplus and dispose of by the best possible means.

WHEREAS, the City of Fairhope, Alabama has donated a 1983 Duce and a half Am Gen Model M35A2 with a VIN of 502453 truck that is valued at approximately $20,750 to the Foley Police Department that was owned and titled by the City of Fairhope, and
WHEREAS, this truck will be added to the Departments Vehicle Inventory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the 1983 Duce and a half Am Gen Model M35A2 with a VIN# of 502453 truck that is valued at approximately $20,750 donated by the City of Fairhope, Alabama to the Foley Police Department.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
