The manufacturer of the current hand punch model time clocks the City utilizes is no longer going to manufacture or support the hand punch models due to COVID, and we have identified another biometric iris scan time clock to purchase and replace the existing clocks. The vendor will buy back the current hand punch models and install the new model time clocks. A list of potential uses for the American Rescue Plan Act funding was presented to Council on 9/7/21 for review, and this clock purchase was on the list. The Human Resources Division requests to authorize the purchase of these time clocks utilizing the ARPA expense account (100-9200-6801) in the amount of $44,030.
