Consider approving South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce's requests to hold a three-day Hot Air Balloon Festival at the Foley Sportsplex, June 14, 15, and 16, 2014 and to serve alcoholic beverages in a non-corralled designated area.
 
Body
      WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce  is requesting to hold the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival on June 13, 14, and 15, 2014 at the Foley Sportsplex and,
      WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is requesting  to serve beer and wine only on the grounds in a non-corralled designated area as indicated on the attached festival map as the "Beer Tent".
      NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
      SECTION 1:      Approves the annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival to be held at the Foley Sports Complex June 13 through 15, 2014.
      SECTION 2:      Approves the serving of alcoholic beverages in a non-corralled designated area based upon ABC Board approval.
      SECTION 3:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
