A Resolution to Complete Foley Event Center Sidewalks for ADA Compliance
Summary
A sidewalk is needed to provide a safe pathway along the south and east side entrance/exits of the Event Center. The connection of the pedestrian paths will get us up-to-date with ADA Compliance. A 6” concrete pad will also be constructed for storage purposes.

WHEREAS, a safe pathway is needed at the Foley Sports Tourism Event Center for visitors and employees to be able to walk safely around the building, and,
WHEREAS, a contract is in place with James Bros. Excavating to provide sidewalk construction of new sidewalks and concrete pad for storage.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the quote from James Bros. Excavating in the amount of $28,660.00 to construct the sidewalks and concrete pad.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $28,660.00 to Account #400-5041-5107 Event Center Sidewalks.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
