WHEREAS, the City of Foley annexed a portions of east U.S. Highway 98 by Legislative Act 2013-230, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends the initial zoning be B3 (Local Business District), B-1A (Extended Business District) , and M1 (Light Industrial District), MH-1 (Manufactured Home Park), R-1R (Restricted Residential Single family), and AO (Agriculture Open Space.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Sets a public hearing for the initial zoning of U.S. Highway 98 to consider Planning Commission's recommendation of B3 (Local Business District), B-1A (Extended Business District), M1 (Light Industrial District), MH-1 (Manufactured Home Park), R-1R (Restricted Residential Single family), and AO (Agriculture Open Space zoning.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
