WHEREAS, the FY14 Budget included funding for the conversion of a Recreation Department contract labor position to a full-time, regular employee position at the City titled Sports and Events Sales Manager, effective with the pay period beginning January 14, 2014.         
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       Authorizes the addition one full-time, regular position to the Pay Classification Plan, titled, "Sports and Events Sales Manager" at a Grade 13, at an annual salary of $39,161, FLSA Exempt and Safety Sensitive, effective with the pay period beginning January 14, 2014.
SECTION 2:      Authorizes the individual currently serving in the contract labor position capacity to remain in that position upon its conversion to the full-time, regular employee position in the City's Pay Classification Plan.
SECTION 3:      This is a budgeted position and no budget allocation or transfer is necessary.
SECTION 4:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
