City Attorneys advised it best for the City to rescind Ordinance 16-2000 and Council adopt a seperate ordinance authorizing the conveyance of property and related transactions for the establishment of an armory for the Alabama National Guard by The Armory Commission of Alabama in the City Of Foley, Alabama.

WHEREAS, Council adopted Ordinance 16-2000 during the regular scheduled Council meeting on January 4, 2016, and
WHEREAS, City Attorneys advised it best for the City to rescind Ordinance 16-2000 and Council adopt a seperate ordinance authorizing the conveyance of property and related transactions for the establishment of an armory for the Alabama National Guard by The Armory Commission of Alabama in the City Of Foley, Alabama, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 16-2000 Ordinance Amending Ordinance 1196-12 To Include Lot 8A And Lot 8B must be rescinded.
BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:
Section 1. Rescinds Ordinance 16-2000 Ordinance Amending Ordinance 1196-12 To Include Lot 8A And Lot 8B.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
