The Police Department requests the permission of the council to accept the FY 2021 (BJA) Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant award in the amount of $5,107.50, which is a 50% reimbursement for the estimated cost of $10,215.00 for the purchase of new/replacement vests. The new vests are budgeted to be purchased in the FY2022 budget.
