A Resolution to Apply for the USDOT's FY26 BUILD Grant
Summary
The USDOT's FY26 Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant program is accepting applications until February 24, 2026. There is $1.5B available for grant awards. There is no minimum for planning project grants. The grant will cover up to 100%, but the City will likely request 80% in grant funds and the City will be required to match 20% to increase our chances of grant funding. The City will be seeking funding for a planning grant to design a capital project for sidewalks on Hwy 98 west of the soccer fields on Ralph Shumacher Rd. AllenES will be assisting the City with the submission of the application.
