The City of Foley is developing Heritage Park in celebration of its 100th anniversary and TIGER grant funds are being designated for a pedestrian foot bridge to cross Hwy. 59 from John B. Foley Park to the west side of Hwy. 59.  Gulf Tide Development LLC owns land that would join the bridge and has requested the City have appraisals done prior to making an offer to purchase.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley desires to develop Heritage Park in preparation of its 100th anniversary, and
WHEREAS, Tiger grant funds are being designated for a pedestrian foot bridge that will cross over Hwy. 59 to join John B. Foley Park and land owned by Gulf Tide Development, LLC, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley will need to purchase land for the right of way in connection with the pediestrian foot bridge.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:       Approves Advanced Appraisals to perform an appraisal on parcels PPIN# 024278 and 063160 in an amount not to exceed $2,500 under Account 01-620-3020.
SECTION 2:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
