In FY22 Resolution 22-1012 granted Council's approval for the purchase of one electric truck for Public Works and one electric truck for Commercial Sanitation. Both departments were unable to obtain them by the end of the fiscal year and planned to purchase these trucks in FY23. FY23 is near end and neither department has been able to obtain an electric truck thus far. The Commercial Sanitation Department requests permission to purchase a gas truck in place of the electric truck. Public Works is going to continue to wait for the Electric vehicle at this time. The Commercial Sanitation Department requests to make a planned capital purchase of a 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x2 V8 from Stivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram under contract # MA0000003316-8 for the total cost of the $40,983.90 under account # 601-1951. Originally, $43,000.00 was planned in FY22 under account #601-1951.
