Amend Resolution 13-0451 from building retaining walls to the annual color beds at Highway 98 and Pine Street to installing large boulders at the annual color beds at Highway 59 and Highway 98 to deter traffic from entering the beds and ruining the flowers and dirt.

WHEREAS, Resolution # 13-0451 authorized the transfer of funds from Beautification Board Accounts to the Landscape Improvement Horticulture Account for the purpose of building retaining walls to help with flooding/erosion of the annual color beds at the intersection of Highway 98 and Pine Street in the amount of $5,818.24 from Landscape Workshop,and
WHEREAS, since the approval of that resolution the City has been awarded a grant that will modify the hardscape at that intersection and needs to be completed before the height of the flower beds are addressed, and
WHEREAS, another project has been identified to use these funds that would address the issues of traffic entering the NW and SE flower beds at the intersection of State Highway 59 and U.S. Highway 98.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
